Queen Street Community Centre has a Hall, 4 rooms and a kitchen that are available to hold both general and business events. With IT facilities in some rooms, and WiFi access available, Queen Street Community Centre is the perfect place to hold your events.
We offer set up of rooms to suit your event and we can arrange refreshments for your meeting or you are welcome to use your own caterers.
We have items to support your business or training event including whiteboards, projector, smartboard (Ash Room), flipcharts. The centre offers WiFi connection throughout.
The centre is all on a single level with direct, flat access from the car park and to all rooms and with wide doorways to enable wheelchair access to all areas. There are baby changing facilities and we are able to negotiate possible creche facilities if required.
Our prices are reasonable and we offer discounts for long term or regular bookings and to support local community groups. Please contact the centre for further details, availability and a quote.
The Anglesey Hall would be the perfect place to hold a large event such as a conference, wedding or a party. With a capacity of 200 people standing or 120 seated this room would make the perfect venue for a wedding reception or children’s party to mention but a few ideas. Situated with the kitchen in close proximity there’s always a close place to prepare or arrange your catering. This room is available for hire with or without tables, chairs and stage if required.
The Ash Room is the perfect place for important business meetings or small training events. With a seating capacity of 15 people and IT facilities (if required) this would be the perfect place for all needs.
The Beech Room, like the Ash room is suitable for important business meetings or small training events. With a seating capacity 15 people this would be the perfect place for all needs.
The Appleby Room is suitable for small business meetings or training events. With a seating capacity of around 10 people it is configurable with one or more tables to suit the meeting type.
With a perfect location next to the Hall, why not think about hiring out the kitchen. With storage facilities this would be the perfect place to store your catering until it is required.
